This is a modern retelling of the classic fairytale Hansel and Gretel. In this story the father’s culpability is brought into sharp focus in contrast to the original where he is painted as the hapless victim (even as he colludes in the murder of his own children). Mixing together modern day parenting problems, grooming and the world of fairytales this film hopes to shine a light on how mothers are held to a higher standard of parenting than fathers and how society can seek to make women the scapegoat.
I have now cast two amazing young actors to play the parts of Harry and Grace; Harrison Naz and Sienna Barlow. I am also very proud to announce that the very talented Kenton Hall will be playing the role of deadbeat dad Craig.
There are several adult roles, yet to be cast. For more details please click here.
